Ⅰ. 다윗이 늙은 나이에 자신의 삶을 돌아보면서 환란 가운데 자기를 구원하신 하나님께 드리는 고백이다.
As David looks back in his old age he couldn’t help but:
1. 사랑을 고백했다(1절)
Declared his love.
2. 신뢰를 고백했다(1, 2, 3, 31절)
Declared his trust.
3. 감사를 고백했다(46절)
Declared his thanksgiving.
4. 찬양을 고백했다(3, 46, 49절)
Declared his praise.

II. 다윗도 모태 신앙이었지만 인생 살면서 구체적(specifically)으로 그리고 인격적(personally)으로 하나님을 만나는 경험이 있었다.
Even though David was raised in the godly family and under the tutelage of Samuel he had to undergo many distressful situations in order to meet God personally.
1. 어려울 때 부르짖으라(3, 6절).
Call unto God.
2. 힘이 딸릴때 하나님을 의지하라(18절).
Rely on God.
3. 은혜 받을 수 있도록 살라(24절).
Conduct your life, so that you can receive God’s grace.
4. 겸손하라(27절).
Be humble.

III. 결과
1. 구원하셨다(수동적)-구원받았다(48절).
God saved him.
2. 승리하게 하셨다(수동적)-승리했다(38절).
Allowed David to triumph.
3. 성공하게 하셨다(수동적)-성공했다(43절).
Allowed David to succeed.
