“A Vessel Fit for the Master’s Use” - Pastor Sara Pyon
The Gospel and Me — Personal Testimony
I. Salvation: Jesus as My Savior
Childhood in Korea
Immigration to U.S. at age 15
Salvation through Romans 10:9-10
II. Growth: Jesus as My Lord
Takes discipline to become a disciple
From a spectator to a player
III. Calling: Jesus as My Master
God’s calling confirmed through 2 Timothy 2:20-22
Be willing and available (v. 20)
Be clean (vv. 21-22)
Flee evil desires & pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace
Check your motive often.
iii. Stay in the company of godly people
God doesn’t always call the equipped, but He equips the called.

IV. Future: Jesus as My Guide
“Don’t know what the future holds, but know who holds the future.”
Continue to be F.A.T. before God
Finish the race well: “Well done, Faithful Servant”
V. Application
Who is Jesus to you? Is He your Savior? Is He your Lord as well? What areas of your life do you have yet to surrender to Jesus in order for Him to be your Lord?
According to Ephesians 2:8-10, each Christian is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ “to do good works.” Do you feel that God’s good work is being carried out in your life? If so, how? If not, why not?
If you were to write a personal testimony at the very end of your life, how would you like it to read? What role would you want God to have played in your life?
