“Paul’s Plea”
Galatians 4:12-20
I. Pastor’s Heart
I plead with you
Become like me
You have done no wrong
II. Galatians’ Hearts
They welcomed him
Treated him with honor
Loved him with utmost generosity
III. The Problem
Ulterior motives
Insincere motives
IV. Conclusion
Pains of pregnancy all over again
How I wish!
V. Application
Paul took great effort to make sure that he wouldn’t sound too harsh as he rebuked and corrected them. What can we learn from his example? Do you exercise that kind of care when you correct someone?
The loving kindness the Galatians showed Paul was incredible. Are you showing this kind of love to the loved ones around you? What can we learn from this?
Wrong and insincere motives always bring disaster. How can we keep our motives pure?
