넉넉히 이기는 자

롬8:32-37

 

·온 세상을 만드신 전능하신 하나님께서 나의 아버지가 되어 나를 보호하시고 책임져 주신다는 것을 확신할 때 우리는 어떤 상황에서도 늘 이기는 삶을 살 수 있게 된다.

 

1) 하나님은 어떤 연약함 가운데 있을 지라도 결코 우리를 버리지 않으시며 정죄당하지 않게 하신다.(33,34절) 

·하나님은 우리를 향한 사랑을 시작할 때부터 우리의 연약함을 다 알고 사랑해주셨다. 그리고 우리의 현재 모습이 어떤 모습이든지 그것 때문에 우리를 버리시거나 우리를 향한 사랑을 거두어 가시는 분이 아니시다.(롬5:6,7,8)

·오늘날 하나님이 거하시는 성전이 된 우리를 향해 하나님은 한 번도 눈길을 거두신 적이 없고, 하나님의 사랑의 마음이 항상 우리 가운데 두어져 있다.(왕상9:3) 하나님은 우리가 노년에 이르기까지 백발이 되기까지 우리를 품을 것이라 하신다.(사46:3,4)     

·우리 모두는 그리스도 안에 있으면 항상 새로운 피조물이다. 어제 까지 연약한 모습으로 살았을 지라도, 오늘 다시 그리스도의 은혜로 말미암아 새로운 모습으로 살아갈 수 있다. 예수 처음 믿을 때만 새로운 피조물이 아니라 항상 새로운 존재가 된다. 

·그렇기 때문에 내가 봐도 한심하다 싶어도, 나의 연약함이 발견되어도 그것 때문에 죄책감이나 어둠에 갇혀 있어서는 안된다.(빌3:13,14)

 

2) 하나님은 우리가 원하는 때에 공급하지 않으시지만 모든 필요한 것들을 공급하신다.(32절)

·하나님은 우리를 위해 자기의 가장 소중한 아들 예수 그리스도를 이미 희생하셨기에 우리의 삶에 필요한 것이 있다면 무엇이든 공급하신다.

·나는 지금 당장 이 일이 이루어지기를 원하지만 하나님은 때로 우리로 하여금 기다리게 하신다. 하나님의 역사를 기다리게 하는 과정에서 우리로 하여금 인내를 배우게 하고, 우리 자신이 더욱 낮아지게 하시고, 결국에는 하나님의 존재와 사랑을 우리로 하여금 더욱 극적으로 확인하게 하신다.      

     *아브라함을 25년 동안 기다리게 하신 하나님   

·또한 하나님은 내가 바라는 것을 주시는 것이 아니라 나에게 필요한 것들을 주신다. 설사 그것이 내가 바라는 것보다 더 못한 것일지라도, 그것이 우리에게 필요하기에 하나님은 우리가 원하는 것이 아닌 다른 것을 주실 때가 있다. 

·하나님은 우리 자신을 하나님께 드리는 것을 더 원하신다. 하나님을 위한다고 하면서 결국은 우리 자신의 삶이 더 부요해지기를 원하는 마음이 있는 것을 알고 계신다.     

 

3) 어떤 사탄의 역사도 결국은 무릎 꿇게 하신 하나님의 사랑을 확신할 때 우리는 넉넉히 이기는 자의 삶을 살 수 있게 된다.(35,36,37절) 

·우리의 삶에도 세상 사람들과 똑같이 삶의 위기가 온다. 그럴 때 문제 상황만 들여다 보면 절망할 수 밖에 없다. 그러나 막상 지나 놓고 보면 그렇게 되지도 않는다. 또 설사 그렇게 되어도 그것이 결론은 아니다. 

·우리 모두는 이미 사탄의 권세를 꺽어 놓으신 그리스도의 이름의 능력에 의지하여 그 사탄의 역사를 이겨낼 수 있다.(37절) 그냥 어쩌다 한번 씩 점으로 띄엄 띄엄 이기는 것이 아니라 선으로 이기는 수가 있다. (고후2:14) 

·사탄이 우리를 잡아 먹을 것처럼 달려들어도 결국 그것들은 하나님 앞에 무릎 꿇을 것들이다. 그럼으로 우리는 여호와께서 성전 삼고 계시는 성도들 앞에 세상과 사탄은 잠잠하라고 선포할 수 있다.(합2:20)   *기저귀찬 사탄

·또한 오늘도 우리의 삶 가운데 계속해서 일하고 계시는 주님의 사랑을 확신할 때, 눈 앞에 보기에는 환난처럼 보여지는 일들을 넉넉히 이겨낼 수 있다. 

·넉넉히 이기는 자의 삶이란 그런 하나님의 일하심과 돌보심을 확신하는 가운데 오늘도 묵묵히 하나님의 명령을 따라 사는 것이다. 하나님께 모든 것을 맡기고 결과에 연연해 하지 않으며 순종의 삶을 사는 것이다.(전12:12,13)  

·푹풍우가 몰아칠 때 오히려 날개를 펴고 비상하듯이 날아오르는 독수리 같은 삶이 바로 넉넉히 이기는 자의 삶이다. 그리고 그런 삶을 살아가려 하는 사람들을 사탄은 건드리지 않는다. 

 

 

학습 및 적용 문제:

1) 하나님은 우리가 원하는 때에 원하는 것을 공급하지 않으시는 경우가 많다. 그 이유가 무엇이라고 생각하는가?

2) 우리가 넉넉히 이기는 자로 살 수 있다는 말의 의미를 두 가지로 설명해보라.

3) 오늘도 나를 향한 하나님의 사랑을 확신하고 살아가고 있는지, 그래서 어떤 상황 앞에서도 굳굳이 흔들림 없이 살아가고 있는 지 삶을 나누어보라.

Overcoming Abundantly

Romans 8:32-37

 

·When we are assured that the Almighty God, who created the entire world, is our Father, protecting and taking responsibility for us, we can live a victorious life in any circumstance.

 

1)God will never abandon us, no matter what weakness we may experience, and He will not allow us to be condemned.

·From the moment God started loving us, He knew all our weaknesses and loved us. And no matter what our current state may be, He does not abandon us or withdraw His love because of it (Romans 5:6-8).

·Even today, God has never taken His eyes off of us, who have become the temple where He dwells, and His loving heart is always within us (1 Kings 9:3). God promises that He will embrace us until we grow old and our hair turns gray (Isaiah 46:3-4).

·We are always a new creation in Christ. Even if we lived in weakness until yesterday, today we can live with a renewed spirit by God’s grace. Being a new creation is not just when we first believed in Jesus, but always.

·Therefore, even if we feel pathetic or discover our weaknesses, we should not be trapped in guilt or darkness because of them (Philippians 3:13-14).

 

2)God does not supply what we want when we want it, but He supplies everything we need.

·Since God already sacrificed His most precious Son, Jesus Christ, for us, He will supply everything we need for our lives.

·We may want things to happen right now, but sometimes God makes us wait. In the process of waiting for God’s timing, we learn patience, become more humble, and ultimately, we are led to more dramatically affirm God’s presence and love in our lives.

God made Abraham wait for 25 years.

·Also, God does not give us what we desire, but what we truly need. Even if it’s less than what we had hoped for, God gives us what is necessary for us.

·God desires more for us to give ourselves to Him. He knows that, though we may claim we are doing things for Him, deep down, we often desire to make our own lives richer.

 

3)When we are certain of God’s love, which makes even the works of Satan bow down, we can live as abundant overcomers.

·Our lives, like those of non-believers, face crises. At such times, if we only look at the problem, we can easily fall into despair. But when we look back, things often don’t turn out as we imagined. Even if they do, that is not the final conclusion.

·We, through the power of Christ’s name, who has already defeated the power of Satan, can overcome the works of Satan (Romans 8:37). It’s not about occasional victories, but rather, we can overcome by doing good (2 Corinthians 2:14).

·Even if Satan attacks us as if he is about to devour us, in the end, he and his works will bow before God. Therefore, we can proclaim that the world and Satan should be silent before the saints, who are the temple of the Lord (Habakkuk 2:20). Satan, who is on his back

·Furthermore, when we are assured of God’s love, working in our lives today, we can overcome things that seem like tribulations in front of us.

·Living as an abundant overcomer means living today in confidence of God’s work and care, following God’s commands quietly. It’s about entrusting everything to God, not being concerned about the results, and living a life of obedience (Ecclesiastes 12:12-13).

·Just as an eagle spreads its wings and rises up during a storm, the life of an abundant overcomer is one that flies above the challenges. And those who live such a life are not touched by Satan.
