We believe that children learn best through play, experimentation, and exploration and our goal is to provide an environment that stimulates developmental growth as we seek to partner with parents in the academic and spiritual education of their children.

The school is looking to hire an elementary teacher to work our full-day classroom immediately starting in August. Full-time hours are 35 - 40 hours per week, most days are scheduled 8am - 4:30pm. Base hourlized entry-level salary starts at $18/hr and can be increased depending on experience and/or education. Academic school year runs from the end of August until the first weeks of June. Candidates who are able to work part of our 10-week summer camp program work will be preferred.

Teacher Requirements: 
+ Must be a born-again Christian actively attending and involved in a local church 
+ 18 years old or older
+ Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's in Elementary Education 
+ Must have experience working with children
+ Must be physically vibrant, creative and intuitive, emotionally secure, and spiritually-grounded in Christ Jesus 
+ Must pass a criminal background history check upon hire

Lead Teacher Job Duties include: 
+ Curriculum and lesson planning 
+ Engage students creatively through projects, activities, and classroom management 
+ Teach specials like music, art, Bible stories, and academics 
+ Facilitate parties, events, field trips, or other school wide events 
+ Share and collaborate with other teachers 
+ Strongly communicate well with parents, co-workers, and the administration 
+ Write weekly newsletter, emails, and frequent postings for classroom events 
+ Teach after school club program at least 2 times during the week (3:15 - 4:30pm)
