IV. Application
Jesus says in Mark 10:45 “For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Jesus had a selfless, sacrificial and serving mindset. How can we apply this verse in our lives?
Chuck Swindoll, the pastor of Insights for living ministry, says that we often say we “CAN’T” when we should say we “WON’T”. Imitating the humility of Christ may seem impossible but God empowers us when we choose to submit to His prompting and guidance.
