What is the gospel to you? Put it in words to the best of your ability.
How is the gospel being advanced in your life?
Paul states, “because of my chains most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly” (v. 14). Meditate on this verse. Pray for wisdom. How can God use your difficult circumstances for good?
Christian author/theologian A.W. Tozer said, “the reason why many are still troubled, still seeking, still making little forward progress is because they haven't yet come to the end of themselves. We're still trying to give orders, and interfering with God's work within us.” God wants to love you. He wants to bless you. He wants to use you. We are the best at getting in the way. What areas in our lives do we need to constantly surrender to Him?
