(3) Made ALIVE with Christ

(Colossians 2:1-15)

I. Christ is supreme over everything (1:15-16)

II. We live in victory when we acknowledge the supremacy of Christ (vv. 1-8)

III. Our sinful nature equates to physical, emotional, and spiritual death (vv. 11-13)

IV. We are made alive WITH Christ through His death and resurrection (vv. 9, 13-15)

V. Application

Pray for humility and awareness of your need for Christ to be supreme.

What sins in your life is preventing you from living the “life to the full” that God intended for you?

We are often bogged down by our worldly concerns that often lead to emotional and spiritual death.  How has that impacted the way that you live?

What does freedom look like for you?  How can you surrender the things preventing freedom in your life to Christ so that you can be truly made LIVE with Christ?

Freedom means bringing sin to light.  Pray again for humility and boldness to be able to share your struggles with your community around you.
