Chuck Colson Health Update

Dear Manhattan Declaration friends: I am writing to request prayer for our friend Chuck Colson who is recovering from surgery over the weekend. Chuck was speaking on Friday night at the annual Wilberforce Conference in Washington when he became ill and was taken to the hospital. On Saturday morning he underwent three hours of surgery to remove a pool of clotted blood from between his brain and skull. The doctors who did the surgery were encouraged by the results of the procedure. He remains in recovery in critical condition and is undergoing further tests. We should know more about his long term prognosis later this week. In the meantime, please pray for Chuck’s healing, and also for his wife Patty and others who attend him at this time.
