The following is an email from our sister Christine Kim (Peter's wife and Jennifer and April's mom), who's been coming out to the VA Campus for the 40-day Early Morning Prayer Campaign because they live in Fairfax, VA.  This morning the VA Campus had the simulcast interrupted due to some technical problems (weather-related?).  The leadership felt somehow we 'failed' because we didn't provide the full service to the congregation.

Then I received this email from Christine, as if it God wanted to tell us, "don't feel discouraged. You did NOT let your congregation down.  Trust Me, and keep up the good work."    Thank you, Lord!

오늘 버지니아 캠퍼스 새벽예배도중 영상이 끊기는 사고가 있었습니다 (비바람 때문?).  그래서 여러분들이 뒤에서 당황하고 복구를 해보려고 시도했으나 '실패'로 돌아가 마음이 안좋은 상태였는데 버지니아에 살며 주일에는 메릴랜드교회를 참석하는 김 크리스틴 자매로 부터 아래 이메일이 왔습니다.  오늘 영상이 끊겼으나 오히려 자기에겐 기도를 더 길게 할 수 있는 기회라 너무 감사했다고. 그리고 온 가족들과 함께 버지니아 캠퍼스 새벽기도를 계속 참석하며 많은 은혜를 받고 있다고, 앞에서, 뒤에서 수고하시는 모든 분들께 감사하다는 내용이었습니다. 우리의 마음을 아시고 그 자매를 통해 위로와 기쁨을 주시는 주님께 감사를 드립니다.

Hi Pastor Sara,

I am writing this to encourage you and let you know that I was very blessed this morning just like every morning, if not more. When the simulcast failed due to the heavy rain, I was encouraged to spend more time in prayer since I usually have to leave earlier than others due to Jennifer and April's school.

I just want to remind you how wonderful early morning worship and prayers at VA campus has been because of someone like you, the worship leader (Pastor Brian) and others who work hard behind the scenes. Every time, I get so blessed as soon as I enter the sanctuary and already feel  the presence of the Lord who is delighted in us showing up with our bare looks. It's a small and cozy sanctuary, but it has been the place my family have been blessed every time we show up even when my daughters are struggling to stay awake.  I thank the Lord that Jennifer and April always say 'yes' whenever I ask them during the day or in the evening whether they wanted to come to the early morning prayer with us. I hope God sees them with joy and finds much delight in them.
