VI. Application
The great missionary, Albert Schweitzer, once told a young man who wanted to learn the secret of success in life, “Dig a well, but one well. And dig it until you find water.” Perhaps it says something about your approach to life. How do you interpret his statement?
Another great missionary William Cary said, “Expect great things from God. And attempt great things for God.” Many people dream and expect great things but never actually attempt to do them. Joshua and his generation did when their predecessors, Moses’ generation failed. What does that say about you?
Are you encouraged by the new series of sermons Pastor Jamie is preaching or discouraged by it? How so? What can we do to help one another achieve God’s call and His blessings hidden behind the door?
