하나님께서는 우리들의 기도를 들으시고 그 가운데 함께 하셨으며 승리하셨습니다.

Beloved Family --
 
Just a few hours ago, we ended our 16-hour prayer watch against the mass gathering of Muslims in our nation's capital.  Muslims nationwide had organized a day of unified Islamic prayer on Capitol Hill, and as stated on the event organizer's website, 50,000 Muslims were expected to attend.
 
However, only a fraction of that number had gathered, according to an article by The Washington Post.  Articles on the web estimated the actual turn-out was 8,000 to as little as 2,000 people.  A friend from DC reported that although the forecast had expected rain the last 4 days, it finally began to rain this morning.  We believe God worked through our prayers to intervene to lessen the attack satan intended through this gathering -- and we earnestly thank all the intercessors who joined us throughout the day to pray.

The battle does not end today and we believe this event was a spiritual wake up call for our generation.  Satan and the end times are at our doorstep, and we must stay spiritually awake and ready!  So family, may this day be a marker for the rising of a righteous generation that will seek the Lord through prayer and fasting!
 
A few of the prayer requests God had impressed upon our hearts during the day:
 

-  A spiritual awakening and prayer revival to arouse the Church in America; 

-  Repentance for the adultery of this world (James 4:4-10);

-  An anointing like the men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what they were to do (1 Chronicles 12:32);

-  Many hurtful acts and words were imposed upon the Muslims by Christians today.  While it is necessary to stand for Biblical truths, we must even battle with love. Our interceding was not against our Muslim brothers and sisters, but against principalities, powers, the ruler of the darkness of this age, and spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  In the words of one of our intercessors: "We know that the Muslims are not our enemies, but rather the spirit of Islam. But so many Christians are treating Muslims as enemies. They are not spreading the love of Christ, and by doing so, they are actually aiding the enemy although they might think they are taking sides with Jesus. We cannot reflect God and His characteristics when we respond to them with hatred and anger. So during this time, let's not forget to pray against the false Christian spirit, and the religious folks, as they debate and battle the Muslims. Let's pray for the presence of God to let Himself be known, just as He is, untainted and uncorrupted by the humans, revealed in the fullness of His true glory. Only His spirit can open hearts and turn hearts around to God".

 

So let us continue to pray for these topics, and again, we sincerely thank you for warring with us in the prayer room today.
