마가복음 5장 21절–43절 (Mark 5:21-43)

I. 이야기의 줄거리
Dynamics of the Story.
1. 자식 사랑과 상황의 긴박함이 자신의 편견을 초월하게 했다.
The love for the child and the urgency of the matter helped him to overcome his prejudice.
2. 간절함이 있었다.
He was desperate.

II. 곁에 낀 이야기
Side Story.
1. 구경꾼들 속에 안타까운 사연이 있었다.
There was a pitiful story among the crowd.
2. 이 여인에게 믿음이 있었다.
She had faith.

III. 이야기의 교훈
Lessons from the Story.
1. 하나는 기득권이 있는 명사였고 다른 하나는 의지할 곳 없는 버림받은 여인이었다.
One was a prominent leader of the community and the other was an outcast.
2. 그들의 딱한 사정은 둘 다 예수님을 찾아오게 만들었다.
The adversity had brought them together.
3. 예수님은 그들의 청을 곧 들어주셨다.
Jesus responded to their needs.
4. 여인도 회당장도 알려지기를 꺼려했다.
They both wanted to escape attention.

IV. 적용
Application
1. 작은 믿음이지만 그 믿음을 칭찬하셨다.
However meager the woman’s faith was, Jesus commanded it.
2. 우리도 그런 믿음을 가지고 예수님을 만져야 한다.
We, too, have to reach out in faith and touch Him.
3. 믿음을 갖기 위해서는 때로는 믿음을 줄 수 있는 체험이 있어야 한다.
Sometimes we need an experience to booster our faith.
4. 예수님은 자상하셨다.
He was tender.
5. 우리도 언젠가는 다 부활할 것이다.
We, too, will one day all be resurrected.
