The following is information about this position:

Manages the Volunteer Services Department of the National Office, including strategic planning, recruiting, management of department and volunteer recognition.  In addition to current operations, the Manager will lead a recruiting effort to build the program in our new Lansdowne location. The ideal candidate will have the following background:
·         Relevant college degree.  

·         Two years program management and planning with recruiting/placing volunteers preferred.

·         Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills including presentation skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to deal with diverse groups and situations.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision; well organized and self-motivated.    .

·         Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or equivalent including database knowledge.

Travel Required ____10_____%  Valid Driver’s License Required____yes____
