존경하는 목사님!
이렇게 인터넷을 통해서 만나뵙게 돼서 너무 감사 드립니다.
특히 더욱 제 마음이 감동이 되는 것은...
목사님께서 직접 답장을 보내주셨다는 것 때문이죠.
목사님의 답장을 받으리라고는 생각도 못했습니다.
바쁘신 목회 일정으로 시간적인 여유가 많이 없으실 텐데도 불구하고
글을 남겨 주셔서 너무 감사 드립니다.
목사님께도 그런 사연이 있으셨네요.
저는 목사님 교회에서 직접 만들어진 곡인 줄로 알았습니다.
그런 줄 알았으면 이렇게 시간 끌지 않고
더 빨리 목사님께 악보를 요청드릴 걸 그랬네요.
괜히 저 때문에 번거롭게 해 드리는 것은 아닌지요?
그러나, 흘러간 가곡이나 가요처럼 세월이 흘러 잊혀져 버리기에는
너무나도 가사와 멜로디가 귀한 곡이라고 생각이 됩니다.
개인적으로는
비록 이제까지의 짧은 목회 사역이기는 하지만
요셉처럼 억울한 일도 당해 보고
다윗처럼 많은 시기로 인해 마음 고생을 하고 있을 때,
그래서 인간적인 혈기를 내 보기도 하고, 하나님께 항변을 해 보기도 하고,
목회를 포기할까 하는 생각을 해 본 적도 있었으나
그때마다 저의 흔들리는 마음을 붙잡아 주었던 곡이 바로 <주여 나의 귀 뚫어>였습니다.
1. 주여 나의 귀 뚫어 나의 상전 되소서
영원토록 섬기며 주의 종 되리라
2. 주의 피로 구속해 나의 죄 사했으니
주님만을 섬기며 영원히 거기 살리 (목사님! 가사가 맞는지 확인해 주세요!^^)
13년 전에 바로 이 찬양을 부교역자와 함께 소개해 주시면서
눈물로 찬양하며 말씀을 전하시던 목사님의 모습이 지금도 제 눈에 생생합니다.
목사님! 이번 기회를 통하여 이 곡을 다시 세상에 알려 주신다면
확신컨대
저처럼 이 곡을 통하여 헌신하고, 도전받고, 힘을 얻을 젊은 주의 종들이 많을 줄 믿습니다.
저도 이 곳 한국에서 아직도 부목사로 사역하고 있기는 하지만
기회가 되는 대로 이 곡을 많은 사람들에게 알리고자 노력하고자 합니다.
제가 기도하고 있는 사역 중 하나가 찬양사역입니다. 부족하나마 성령님의 감동을 통해 제가 만든 몇 개의 곡을
모아서 음반을 만들고자 하는 계획을 가지고 기도해 오고 있습니다. 그때에는 반드시 이 곡을 음반에 수록하여
세상에 알리고 싶습니다. (목사님! 기도로 밀어주실 거죠!)
