매릴랜드한인회장에 출마하면서....

금년 1월말 까지만 해도 생각을 안했는데,

2월이 들어서도 회장 출마자가 없다고 해서 한인회장으로 봉사를 해보고 싶다는 생각을 했습니다.

  25년동안 한인사회 일을 해오면서 ,

꿈꾸어 오던 일이 있었습니다.

매릴랜드한인회를 미주한인사회의 모범적인 단체로 만들어서

전체 미주한인들의 이민정착과 후손들을 위해 기여를 하고 싶다는 것이었지요.

  그리고 다른 한가지는 예수 믿는 사람이 하니까 뭔가 다르다는 것을 보여주고 싶었지요.


쉽지 않은 결정이었지요. 하지만 내 뜻을 이해해주고 허락해준 와이프에게 감사하고.

물론 이 일을 준비하시고 인도하시는 하나님께 감사드리고,

주변에서 도와주시고 격려해주시는 여러분들 때문에 힘을 얻습니다.


정말 하나님께서 주시는 지혜로 잘 할 수 있도록 기도해주세요.

일을 하면서도, 또 임기가 끝났을 때

사람들에게 칭찬을 듣고 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 수 있기를 기도합니다.


먹든지 마시든지 무엇을 하던지 하나님의 영광을 위해서 하라..... 아멘...

한인회 일들도 하나님의 영광을 위해서 할 수 있다고 생각합니다.  

믿음의 형제 자매님들이 기도해주세요.  감사합니다.

하나님의 은혜로 예수님을 알고 , 성경을 통해서 예수님을 영접하고 가르침을 따르고

남은 여생 가운데 하나님께서 부족한 이모습을 새롭게 빚어주셔서

 하나님의 나라를 확장하는데 써 주시기를 소원하면서 준비하고 있습니다.
