&lt;p&gt;About our Speaker&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Lana is the Founder of Life Impact International and moved to&lt;br /&gt;
Thailand when she was just 24 years old. For the past 15&lt;br /&gt;
years, Lana and her team have been working relentlessly with&lt;br /&gt;
arisk and exploited children in Thailand, Burma and the&lt;br /&gt;
war-zones and borders in between.&lt;br /&gt;
The things that children face in our world today, are exploitaons such as;&lt;br /&gt;
trafficking, abuse, abandonment, slavery and prostitution. Lana and her&lt;br /&gt;
team relentlessly fight for, protect and are a voice for these vulnerable children!&lt;br /&gt;
They fight with the belief that if we reach a generation then that generation&lt;br /&gt;
will change their own nation! Today Lana and her team reside on the Thailand/&lt;br /&gt;
Burma Border with 125 children currently in 5 different safe homes in 2&lt;br /&gt;
different Countries as well as Promise Land of 25 acres with 15 family style&lt;br /&gt;
safe homes! Thousands upon thousands of at-risk children, exploited families&lt;br /&gt;
and vulnerabe poor&rsquo;s lives have been changed through Life Impact USA,&lt;br /&gt;
Life Impact UK and Life Impact Thailand Foundation with Life Impact Burma&lt;br /&gt;
and Life Impact Brazil on the horizon.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;]]></description>

1 Corinthians 7:1-7&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&ldquo;I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from&lt;br /&gt;
God; one has this gift, another has that.&rdquo; 1 Corinthians 7:7&lt;br /&gt;
I. As a single person, serve Jesus wholeheartedly.&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned&lt;br /&gt;
about the Lord&rsquo;s affairs&mdash;how he can please the Lord. But a married man&lt;br /&gt;
is concerned about the affairs of this world&mdash;how he can please his&lt;br /&gt;
wife&mdash;and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is&lt;br /&gt;
concerned about the Lord&rsquo;s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord&lt;br /&gt;
in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the&lt;br /&gt;
affairs of this world&mdash;how she can please her husband. I am saying this&lt;br /&gt;
for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right&lt;br /&gt;
way in undivided devotion to the Lord.&rdquo; 1 Corinthians 7:32-35&lt;br /&gt;
II. As a single person, be resolute to moral purity.&lt;br /&gt;
Now for the matters you wrote about: &ldquo;It is good for a man not to have&lt;br /&gt;
sexual relations with a woman.&rdquo; 1 Corinthians 7:1&lt;br /&gt;
III. As a single person, pursue God pleasing relaonships.&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love&lt;br /&gt;
and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
2 Timothy 2:22&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of&lt;br /&gt;
your heart.&rdquo; Psalm 37:4&lt;/p&gt;

1.&nbsp;Young Rich Ruler:&lt;br /&gt;
2.&nbsp;Samson&lt;br /&gt;
3.&nbsp;David&lt;br /&gt;

1.&nbsp;Ecclesiastes 12:13‭-‬14 ‬‬‬‬&lt;br /&gt;
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind (Young, Single, Married).&nbsp; For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil&lt;br /&gt;
2.&nbsp;1 Corinthians 7:17-20 &quot;This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord&rsquo;s affairs&mdash;how he can please the Lord. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God&rsquo;s commands is what counts.&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
3.&nbsp;Isa 60:1 &ndash; Arise, Shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you&lt;br /&gt;

Ephesians 5:22-33&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Marriage is a covenant relationship of lifetime faithfulness.&lt;br /&gt;
Therefore, say to the Israelites: &lsquo;I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from&lt;br /&gt;
under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I&lt;br /&gt;
will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.&lt;br /&gt;
I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know&lt;br /&gt;
that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the&lt;br /&gt;
Egyptians.&rdquo; Exodus 6:6-7&lt;br /&gt;
When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him, &ldquo;Go,&lt;br /&gt;
marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an adulterous&lt;br /&gt;
wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the Lord.&rdquo; Hosea 1:2&lt;br /&gt;
I. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. (vv.22-24)&lt;br /&gt;
Submission vs. Obedience&lt;br /&gt;
This is not a master of competence or ability, but rather a matter of&lt;br /&gt;
assigned role.&lt;br /&gt;
II. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church. (vv25-32)&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;It was the LORD&rsquo;s will to crush him and cause him to suffer&hellip;...he poured&lt;br /&gt;
out his life unto death and was numbered with the transgressors. For he&lt;br /&gt;
bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
Isaiah 53:10-12&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it,&lt;br /&gt;

&nbsp;&ldquo;The tongue has the power of life and death.&rdquo; (Proverbs 18:21)&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.&rdquo; (Proverbs 15:1)&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.&rdquo; (Proverbs 25:15)&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&quot;It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.&quot; -Frederick Douglas&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&ldquo;Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.&nbsp; Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God&rsquo;s sight.&rdquo; (1 Peter 3:3-4)&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&ldquo;And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, &ldquo;My son, do not make light of the Lord&rsquo;s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.&rdquo;&nbsp; (Hebrews 12:5-6)&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.&rdquo; (Proverbs 13:24)&lt;br /&gt;

2. A godly mother shares her life and the gospel with her children (v.8)&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;It&rsquo;s not your Present, but your Presence!&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&ldquo;To prepare our children to leave home by thinking and acting biblically as they face life&rsquo;s issues, challenges, problems&hellip;To Think and Act BIBLICALLY.&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&ldquo;For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?&rdquo; (Matthew 16:26)&lt;br /&gt;
&nbsp;&ldquo;I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and I am persuaded, now lives in you also.&rdquo; (2 Timothy 1:5)&lt;br /&gt;

will. Jacob&rsquo;s compromise to settle in Schechem (instead of Bethel)&lt;br /&gt;
brought on a serious trouble on his family&lt;br /&gt;

Genesis 24-28; 1 Corinthians 1:26-28&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Isaac was a very ordinary person. Yet God was with him and walked with him&lt;br /&gt;
and used him for His purpose.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;I. Isaac was a God&rsquo;s promise&lt;br /&gt;
1. Even though he lived an ordinary life, but he was not a mistake. Isaac&lt;br /&gt;
was brought into the world by God and with God&rsquo;s specific vision and&lt;br /&gt;
purpose. (Genesis 21:1-3)&lt;br /&gt;
2. If Jesus is your Lord and personal Savior, then you are His promise.&lt;br /&gt;
II. God was with Isaac and walked with him through the battles of his life&lt;br /&gt;
1. Isaac experienced many up and downs in life, external and internal&lt;br /&gt;
battles. Yet, God was with Isaac and walked with him every step&lt;br /&gt;
of the way!&lt;br /&gt;
2. So be encouraged. Whatever battles you may be facing, God is&lt;br /&gt;
walking with you.&lt;br /&gt;
III. Then, how was Isaac able to overcome these bales of life that came&lt;br /&gt;
with doubts and fear?&lt;br /&gt;
1. Prayer and worship: Isaac sought after God. (Genesis 26:23-25)&lt;br /&gt;
2. Isaac trusted God and obeyed. (Genesis 26:1-6)&lt;br /&gt;
IV. Why all these battles in life?&lt;br /&gt;
1. Because God wants to prepare you through those bales of life so&lt;br /&gt;
that you may become a channel of God blessing to others.&lt;br /&gt;
2. Isaac&rsquo;s prayer. (Genesis 28:1-5)&lt;br /&gt;
V. What are the lessons you can learn from Isaac&rsquo;s life?&lt;br /&gt;
1. It&rsquo;s okay to live an ordinary life. It&rsquo;s okay to make mistakes and fail.&lt;br /&gt;
It&rsquo;s okay to have issues in life. What God is looking for from you is&lt;br /&gt;
your attitude of faithfulness.&lt;br /&gt;
2. And when you do that, God will always reveal himself to you.&lt;br /&gt;
That&rsquo;s the moment of encountering God and to be in His presence.&lt;br /&gt;
(Genesis 26:23-25)&lt;/div&gt;

4 Events &ndash; Creation; Man/Woman; The Fall; The Flood (Chapters 1-11)&lt;br /&gt;
4 People &ndash; Abraham; Isaac; Jacob; Joseph (Chapters 12-50)&lt;br /&gt;
God&rsquo;s judgment/anger is an expression of HIS justice; HIS justice is an act&lt;br /&gt;
of Love, and it is a great news that God is angry at sin.&lt;br /&gt;
Which alternative would you choose? Evil, injustice, oppression and&lt;br /&gt;
violence to continue and go unchallenged OR God to confront and judge&lt;br /&gt;
sins and rebellions?&lt;br /&gt;
What God reveals through the flood judgment;&lt;br /&gt;
1. God is angry with sin and He will punish sin.&lt;br /&gt;
2. God wants sinful men to repent and to show us the way of salvaon.&lt;br /&gt;
Inclusivism vs. Exclusivism.&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in&lt;br /&gt;
heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah,&lt;br /&gt;
so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before&lt;br /&gt;
the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in&lt;br /&gt;
marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark and they knew nothing&lt;br /&gt;
about what would happen until the flood came and took them all&lt;br /&gt;
away. That is how it&rsquo;ll be at the coming of the Son of Man.&rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
Matthew 24:36-39&lt;br /&gt;
&ldquo;Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and&lt;br /&gt;
forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living&lt;br /&gt;
